1-2-1 Leadership Coaching
What is Coaching?
Coaching isn't therapy. It isn't mentoring. It isn't advice.
It’s a partnership that helps you think more clearly, explore what matters to you and turn insight into action. It’s forward-looking and action-focused — working alongside someone who’s in your corner, supporting you to identify and achieve your goals, without telling you what to do.
My Approach
My coaching is grounded in the Person-Centred approach of Carl Rogers and influenced by Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment.
I believe people are naturally resourceful, and that clarity emerges when we have the space to think for ourselves.
I don’t provide answers or tell you what to do. I create the space and psychological safety to pause, cut through the noise, challenge assumptions and find solutions that are right for you.
“Kate helped me to rethink some deep assumptions and navigate some complex situations with clarity. Her impact is both immediate and long lasting.”
Director of SEND & Inclusion, EducationWho I Work With
I work with clients across a range of situations, including:
The New Leader — You've just stepped into a bigger role and you're figuring out how to make it your own.
The Quiet Carrier — You're holding grief or loss that's quietly shaping how you show up at work.
The Crossroads Thinker — You're weighing a career change and need space to actually think it through.
The Responsible Achiever — You're juggling work with parenting or caregiving, and self-care always lands at the bottom of the list.
The Burnt-Out High Performer — A role that used to feel right now leaves you exhausted, and boundaries feel like a foreign language.
Why Work With Me?
I've sat where my clients sit — in boardrooms, through big transitions, and through personal moments that tested everything.
Thirty years in a corporate role, combined with professional coach training, means I understand both the pressure you're under and how to help you move through it.
I work with a maximum of six clients at a time. That's deliberate — enabling me to give you the time, focus and reflection needed to help you move forwards.

The Process
A Discovery Call: To explore if we’re a good fit. Get a feel for how I coach. Talk through your goals and current reality. Explain the investment and logistics.
Pre-coaching Questionnaire: A simple document that provides the holsitic view of your life, sets out your goals and helps me understand your model of the world.
Session 1: We get clear on what's really going on — and what you actually want.
Sessions 2–4: We dig deeper, challenge what's holding you back, and explore what's possible.
Sessions 5–6: We consolidate, and build a plan and work to keep you accountable and on track.
Six sessions, 90 minutes each. In person or online. Always confidential.
“The coaching provided far more than accountability. It gave me space to think clearly, process challenges, improve decision making and build stronger habits, structure and boundaries around both work and home life.”
